University Savings for Parents

Here at Moneywise, we aim to make fair and affordable finance accessible for as many people as possible.

University is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you’re a parent, sending your child off to university will fill you with pride – but this doesn’t change how costly it can be.

On top of tuition fees, students need to account for living expenses – such as food, books and more – whether they’re living at home or in accommodation. This can all amount to a large sum if you’re not prepared for it.

As a parent, you want to be able to help them as much as you can. Opening a university savings account is one of the best ways you can do that. Start as early as you like and contribute as and when you can to give your kids the best chance of success at university.

To apply you must:

  • Be aged over 18
  • Agree to Moneywise Credit Union rules
